The Investment That Lasts a Lifetime

More Than Volleyball

When parents sign their daughter up for club volleyball, it can feel like a major investment — time, money, energy, weekends on the road, endless snacks, and loads of laundry. But at Nebraska Power Volleyball, we believe that investment should go further than a single season.

As a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, our mission is to make high-level volleyball training accessible while developing confident, capable young women on and off the court. We’re not driven by profit — we’re driven by purpose: creating opportunity for more girls to play the game they love, regardless of background or circumstance.

Confidence That Can’t Be Measured

From tryouts to tournaments, every serve, dig, and rally builds more than skill — it builds confidence. We focus on teaching players to take ownership of their growth, trust their abilities, and see mistakes as opportunities to learn. That confidence doesn’t stop at the end of a match. It carries into classrooms, job interviews, and college experiences. Years from now, she’ll still remember what it felt like to lead a team, find her voice, and handle pressure with grace.

Teamwork That Translates to Life

Volleyball teaches teamwork in its purest form — communication, trust, and accountability. At Nebraska Power, we emphasize the “we over me” mentality. Our athletes learn that success comes from connection and shared effort, not just individual talent.

That understanding shapes how they show up in life — as students, employees, teammates, and friends. They learn to collaborate, to support others, and to lead with empathy — skills that make them stand out far beyond the court.

Resilience in the Face of Challenge

Not every weekend ends with a win, and that’s where some of the best lessons happen. Our players learn to navigate adversity, recover from setbacks, and keep pushing toward improvement. That kind of resilience is what builds strong adults — the kind who stay grounded, focused, and determined no matter what life throws their way.

As a nonprofit, we see this growth as our greatest return — not financial profit, but personal progress. Every dollar and every hour invested goes back into player development, facility access, coaching education, and creating equitable opportunities for more girls to experience these lessons firsthand.

A Community That Feels Like Family

The Nebraska Power community extends beyond the court. It’s parents who cheer for every team, coaches who care deeply about character, and athletes who support each other like sisters. Our nonprofit model allows us to keep the focus where it belongs — on development, relationships, and giving back. When one player grows, the whole community benefits.

The Real Return

When you look at club volleyball as an investment, it’s easy to measure it in entry fees or weekends spent traveling. But at Nebraska Power Volleyball, the real return can’t be measured in dollars or medals.

You’re investing in who your daughter is becoming: confident, accountable, and empowered to lead. You’re helping build a program that expands access, builds community, and changes lives — one serve, one season, and one player at a time.

Because this isn’t just a club. It’s a community-driven investment in the next generation of young women — and that’s an investment that truly lasts a lifetime.
